Mr. Danny Cribb, age 68, of Rome, GA passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his home. Mr. Danny was born on November 30, 1955, in Rome, GA. Danny was a cherished son of Dennis and Nellie Robinson Cribb.
Throughout his life, Danny exemplified patriotism and American values. He found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, traveling, and spending peaceful moments in his rocking chair on the carport with loved ones. Danny’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. A man of faith, Danny attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he found comfort and community.
Mr. Danny is survived by a son, Preston Cribb (Nicole) of Cave Spring, GA; daughter, Jessica Cribb of Rome, GA; his mother, Nellie Robinson Cribb of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Hunter and Joni Cribb; sister, Dianne (Robert) Carpenter; nephews: Luke (Sara), Cain (Melissa) and Jeremiah Carpenter; numerous cousins and special friends as well as his faithful companion Addie, the family dog, who held a special place in Danny's heart. Danny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Cribb and his father, Dennis Cribb.
Funeral services for Mr. Danny will be Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home with Rev. Earl L. Partain and Rev. Hunter T. Cribb officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
Mr. Danny’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Preston Cribb, Luke Carpenter, Lucas Carpenter, Jeremiah Carpenter, Kyle Wheeler and Brandon Howerton. Robert Carpenter will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Salmon Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Danny Cribb.
