Danny Dingus Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ripley Funeral and Cremation Services - Ripley on Jun. 18, 2023.
Obituary
Mr. Danny Dingus, 75, resident of Falkner, passed away peacefully June 17, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Ms.
A Celebration honoring the Life of Mr. Danny will be at 342 Burrows Road, Collierville, TN 38017 on a later date. Ripley Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
Mr. Danny was born December 28, 1947 in Pounds, VA, to the late Earl and Jean Mullins Dingus. He received his education from the Pounds Public School System and was married to his beloved wife Diane Labarreare Dingus, who survives. Taking pride in all he did, Mr. Danny worked in construction as a plasterer for twenty years until his retirement.
A Christian, he found pleasure in traveling, being outdoors, and buying antiques. He was a collector of anything and everything. He firmly believed "One man's junk is another man's treasure". If he saw something he thought you needed, you could bet he was going to get it for you. Mr. Danny always thought of others and was very compassionate. His greatest fulfillment was being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family and was happiest when around them. He lived a full life, made the most of everything, and will be missed greatly.
In addition to his wife of 43 years those left to cherish his memories include, two daughters, Stacy Dingus and Brittany Foster (Rusty), three sons, Bobby Dingus, Danny Dingus Jr., and Michael Stevenson (Catrina), two sisters, Paula Barnett and Lou Scott, one brother, Jeff Dingus, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He is also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Dingus.
