Danny Art Fabrizio, age 79, of Hanna, Utah, passed away on December 22, 2025, at his home.
He was born on July 3, 1946, in Heber City, Utah, to Arthur and Jean Gines Fabrizio. Danny married Carole Jean Snodgrass on August 26, 1966, in Tabiona, Utah, and they were later sealed in the Vernal Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on August 26, 2008.
Danny spent his entire life in Hanna, where he created many cherished memories in his youth. He loved horseback riding with friends, swimming in the old swimming hole during summer, hunting for big bucks, attending church at the old Hanna Ward, and spending time with his friends and cousins. He graduated from Tabiona High School in 1964, where he was an avid basketball player for the Tabiona Tigers and served as student body president during his senior year.
As a young man, Danny worked at the Fabrizio Sawmill, learning many skills from his father and grandfather that would serve him throughout his life. He also worked for the Central Utah Water Project and held various other jobs. For 21 years, Danny worked for Chevron Pipeline and retired in 1995. After retiring, he enjoyed owning and operating a farm in Hanna, where he had a small herd of cattle. In 2003, Danny and Carole started a small business, “Over the Hill RV Park,” in Hanna, where they enjoyed meeting new people and staying active during the summer months.
Danny took great joy in supporting his grandchildren and attending their various activities, including basketball, wrestling, football, volleyball, high school, college, PRCA rodeos, and many other events. His dedication to family and community kept him busy and on the road much of the time.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carole; children, Dana (Tim) Shepard, Bridgeland, Utah; Kristie (Chris) Thompson, Altonah, Utah; Lex (Carrie) Fabrizio, Duchesne, Utah; Jed (Robyn) Fabrizio, Tabiona, Utah; Matthew (Maria) Fabrizio, Granbury, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings Max (Valona) Fabrizio, Hanna; Brad (Terry) Fabrizio, Heber; Jill (Ralph) Stansfield, Duchesne; Tal (Debbie) Fabrizio, Duchesne; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
