Danny Fincher

Mr. Danny M. Fincher, age 77, of Hampton, passed away on January 28, 2026. Danny spent his early years in Cedartown, Georgia, before moving to McDonough, where he graduated from high school. In his younger years, he excelled in softball and proudly served as the team's pitcher. Danny was a truck driver and spent many years on the road. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, like fishing, tinkering with projects, playing pool and spending time working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Fincher and Effie Mae Bradley Fincher, and a sister, Shirley White.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Lillian McMullen; daughters: Lisa Hammond (David) and Jonnie Berenguer; grandchildren: Ashley Dennis, Brooke Daniel (Anthony), Clayton Verner (Brittany) and Ryan Berenguer; great-grandchildren: Alexis Dennis, Kensleigh Dennis, Bentley Verner, and Cohen Verner; sisters: Peggy Tankersley and Brenda Morris; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children in memory of Danny.
