Danny Michael Gulledge, 76, passed away on December 16, 2025, at his home in New Market, Alabama. He was born on April 5th, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo to the late James Donald Gulledge and Geraldine Maxine (Dement) Meyer.

Danny and his family moved to Cahokia, IL when he was 6 years old. He attended school there until he joined the US Army in 1967 and served two tours in Viet Nam. In 1969, Danny received the Army Commendation Medal with "V" device for outstanding service and heroism. He continued his service with the military and retired from the Army Reserves as Command Sergeant Major in 1998 when he moved to New Market, Alabama. He served over 30 years in the military.

Danny is survived by his wife, Bridget, of New Market, Alabama, his Daughter, Danielle Gulledge of St. Louis, Missouri, three Step-Sons: Robert (Catherine) Moore, Peter (Amanda) Moore, Jonathan Moore, his Sister, Linda (Wayne) Ploesser of Hillsboro, Missouri, his Mother, Geraldine (Dement) Meyer of Crystal City, Missouri, a Nephew, James (Carolyn) Brown of Cottleville, Missouri, a Niece, Christina (Charlie) Rennie of Imperial, Missouri, Step Grandchildren: Taylor Moore, Madison Moore, Peter Moore, Jayden Johnson, Georgia Kelley, Savanah Kelley, Caleb Moore, Annabelle Moore.

Great Nieces and Nephews: Nolen Brown, Tyler Brown, Evan Rennie, Chase Brown, Morgan Rennie and Jordan Brown. One Aunt, fourteen cousins and many extended family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his father, James Donald Gulledge, Stepfather, Charles Elmer Meyer, Sister, Janet E. Brown, a nephew, Jeffrey C. Brown, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
