Danny Hernandez

With heavy hearts, we announce that Danny Hernandez departed this life and entered heaven's gates on January 19, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview, Texas.

Danny was born on March 20, 1970, in Plainview, TX, to Catarino Hernandez and Adelaida Villalovos Velasquez.

Throughout his working years, he served as a skilled handyman and jack-of-all-trades, running a tree service and excelling in cabinetry. A passionate singer, he took great pride in sharing the word of God. He cherished gathering with family for cookouts and savoring meals together, especially at Thanksgiving. Watching the Dallas Cowboys alongside his mother and brothers was among his most treasured pastimes.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Catarino Hernandez Sr., and his brothers, Catarino Hernandez Jr., Carlos Hernandez, and Ricardo Hernandez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Adelaida Velasquez; his children, Valerie Hernandez, Daniella Hernandez, Adelita Hernandez, Danny Hernandez Jr., Isabel Hernandez, and Linda Hernandez; and his brother, Robert Hernandez.
