Ronald Owen Clark, 90, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Mr. Clark was born in Ponca, City, OK on July 22, 1935. At the time of his death he resided at Brookdale Assisted Living Center, 7404 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX.
He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1954. Following high school, he enlisted into the United States Army. After his tour in the Army he married Vonda May Laundry, whom preceded him in death. He had three sons, Reece Clark, Rex Clark, Cliff Clark and one daughter, Valerie Palmer, all who preceded him in death.
Ronnie was a land surveyor by trade. Following his retirement, he worked for the Amarillo Independent School District as a custodian. He was a member of the Amarillo Lions Club and The First Baptist Church of Washburn, Texas.
Ronnie was endeared to his older sister, Bonnie Bragg of Amarillo, whom he loved very much.
He is survived by Bonnie Bragg, four grandchildren: Tony Palmer, Veronica Greavel, Jerrod Clark, Chad Clark, one great grandchild, Brittany Palmer, and one niece, Susan Sanders and her husband Gene.
Services will be held at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount, on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
