Danny Ray McMindes

Danny Ray McMindes, 61 of Fountain went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2025. He was born in Hornell, NY. on May 12, 1964.
Danny graduated from Troupsburg Central School in 1982. After moving to Florida 14 years ago, he became an active and devoted member of Bear Creek Assembly of God, where he faithfully served as the church custodian. Danny was involved in many aspects of church life and was always looking for ways to lend a hand or brighten someone's day. He also had a true passion for disc golf, a pastime he enjoyed and shared with others.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lester "Rusty" McMindes; grandparents, Howard and Reva McMindes.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa McMindes; daughter, Kelly (Lennie) Hallertt; son, William "Billy" McMindes; mother, Shirley (Robert) Kuehne; 2nd mom, Joni McMindes; siblings, Greg (Erin) Lewis, Brian (Ashley) McMindes, Matthew Lewis, Michelle McMindes, Scott (Tammy) McMindes, and Marsha Balance; stepsister, Cheri (Jimmy) Handley; stepbrother, Rob (Tammy) Hoaglin. Danny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loved ones both through marriage and friendship. He loved his "girls" dogs, Faith and Joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with his Pastor and Friend, Tony Teas officiating.
