Danny Allen Rake

Danny Allen Rake, 59, passed away on March 19, 2013 in Topeka, KS. He was born on June 5, 1953 in Topeka, Kansas to Donald David and Jessie Belva (Wilson) Rake. Danny was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He worked at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for over 30 years. Danny married Sharon Crago in 1973; they later divorced but remained friends. He then married Debbra (Paradis) Rake on March 26, 2001. He is survived by his wife Debbra, sons Douglas Rake and Kevin (Dawn) Rake, step-daughters Jennifer (Tytiba) Huggins, and Jessica (James) Linnemeyer, many grandchildren, and 2 nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother David Carl Rake. He will lie in state from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, with visitation being held from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home, followed by interment at Eastview Cemetery in Big Springs, Kansas.
