DANNY RISENER Obituary
Mr. Risener was born March 7, 1948, in Arkansas to the late Troy and Vera Cooley Risener. Danny retired from General Motors where he worked as a supervisor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Sass; and sister, Patricia Ann Overton.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Risener; children and their spouses, Dana Sass, Danny T. Risener II (Dawn), William "Bill" Risener (Darcy), Sheila Crist, and Tracy Kozuh; grandchildren, Amber Kasban, Parker Risener, Danny T. Risener III (Emily), Heather Markham, Desiree Swayne, T.J. Risener (Taylynn); and numerous great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Conklin will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at the funeral home.

My sincere condolences to Dan's family. This is still so hard to believe. I will always remember Dan's smile, which he always had. He was a wonderful, caring, kind, thoughtful human being who would help anyone at any time. He will surely be missed here in Mountain Shadows.
I'm so blessed I seen and talked to him on Friday.
RIP Dan and will see you again my friend.
