Danny Joe Roberts was born on May 30, 1950 in the family home on Red Sulphur Road in Counce, Tennessee, the son the late Walter Luther and Dora Bell Grisham Roberts.
On May 26, 1977, he was united in marriage to Wanda Jo Allen, who survives.
Danny worked at Fischer Lime and Cement as the property superintendent for 33 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee. Danny enjoyed gardening, woodworking, reading his bible, and going to the lake. Most of all he loved his grandson.
Danny Joe Roberts departed this life on February 10, 2024 in Counce, Tennessee, at his home on Red Sulphur Road, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 11 days.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wanda Jo Roberts of Counce, Tennessee, daughter, Jana Lynn Harville of Counce, Tennessee; brother, Donny Roberts, and one grandchild, Dalton Dair Harville.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Harvill; and brothers, Larry Roberts, Jerry Roberts, and William "Buddy" Roberts.
The family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or Leboneur Childrens Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee
