It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Michael Lee Brown, age 55, of Savannah, TN, who left us on February 10, 2026. He was born on November 5, 1970, in Waukegan, IL, Michael was the son of Douglas Lee and Elaine Brown.
A dedicated worker, Michael spent many years devoted to his craft in construction at Edwards & Brown Construction Company, where his skill and commitment to excellence shone through in every project he undertook.
Michael was a beloved member of the Waynesboro Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he found joy in fellowship and spiritual connection. In his leisure time, he embraced simple pleasures that brought him happiness—whether it was collecting arrowheads, enjoying the serenity of fishing, or offering a helping hand to those in need- having volunteered to go on mission trips,1 to the Philippines and 1 to Ecuador. Michael's kind spirit touched the lives of many.
As we remember Michael, let us celebrate a life filled with love, generosity, and a passion for the outdoors. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his children, Kristen Nichole Brown (Logan Jenkins), and Noah Lee Brown (Amber); sister, Nancy Lockridge; parents, Douglas Lee and Elaine Brown; nieces/nephews, Douglas Andrew Guinn, Kolbe Onnie Galusha (Nathan), and Hallie Gayle Gayheart (Jason); great nieces, Annabelle Guinn and Ayla Noelle Powell; and grandchildren, Jaxon Dale Bowling, Journey Adrielle Jenkins, Cole Sisom, Bailee Sisom, and Zoie Sisom.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Lee Brown Jr. "Skip".
