Danny Ray Robinson

Danny Ray Robinson, age 65, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman "Cotton" and Betty Jean Robinson; his brothers, Mike, Phillip and Thurman Robinson; and by his sister, Judy Lynn Robinson.

Danny leaves behind his loving wife, Kindra Robinson; his son, Jeremy R. Robinson; his stepdaughter, Lindsey R. Owens; his sister, Karen House (Freddy), and a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Jayda Patton (Shane), Marley Robinson, Layken Robinson, and one great grandson, Easton.

Danny was a custodian at Hazel Green Elementary for many years before earning his CDL and driving for Roehl with his wife. He then worked for Gordon Food Service, Institutional Distributors and Borden Dairy. Danny was truly a country boy. Raised in Mt. Zion in Hazel Green, KY, Danny loved working outdoors, raised tobacco for many years, and had a deep love for animals. Danny also had a great sense of humor, a gift he shared with friends and family.

In his final days, he yearned to go back to his early years, and simpler times spent with family. I am sure the reunion in heaven was a joyous occasion as he embraced those he had missed so much.

Danny Ray Robinson will be laid to rest at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. The family will meet at the funeral home around 12:30 p.m. for a procession to the cemetery. The family requests that donations be made in memory of Danny to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which he was very passionate about. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
