Kenneth Weddington

FAIRBORN — Kenneth Berlin Weddington, age 88 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday October 1, 2016. He was born December 14, 1927 in Elliott Co., KY, the son of the late Harve and Lydia (Wilson) Weddington. Ken retired from L.B. Schroeder Construction as a labor foreman after 20 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and canning; and his grandchildren were Papaw's buddies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Alfred, Bernis, Miniffe; sister Mary Gillum; son-in-law, Kenneth David Sizemore. Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Magdalene; son, Rick (Robyn) Weddington; daughter, Jackie Sizemore; 4 grandchildren, Laura (Frank) Eaton, Crystal (Nathan) Bassett; Kenny Skaggs, Amy (Chad) Boldin; 4 great-grandchildren, Brock and Arabella Eaton, Savannah Jo Bassett, Libby Boldin; 2 brothers, Wendell and Curtis; sister, Hildreth Roe; as well as several nieces, nephews an extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at 12:00 Noon, Rev. Michael Severt officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
