Danny Staley Obituary
Danny Reid Staley, age 71, of Seagrove, passed away on January 8, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in the loving arms of his family.
Mr. Staley was born on June 26, 1953, in Randolph County to David and Annie Porter Staley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David Staley Jr., Benny Staley and Martin Staley.
Danny is survived by his wife Linda Staley of the home; daughters April Wilburn (Brandon) of Asheboro; Amanda Cagle of Statesville; brother Kenneth Staley of Seagrove, and sister Ruth Grantham (Sam) of Asheboro. As well as grandchildren Chase Wilburn, Bryce Wilburn, Hayley Hammond and Austin Cagle.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at New Center Christian Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Bradley Morrison and Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Danny's memory to New Center Christian Church, 6448 New Center Church Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341.
The family will be gathering at the home of April and Brandon Wilburn at 3438 Marathon Drive, Asheboro, NC.
