Darci Michelle Leaker, 39, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on March 18, 2026 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born December 3, 1986, in Columbus, Ohio.
Darci was a 2005 graduate of Logan Elm High School and throughout her life held many different jobs, most recently working as an entrepreneur running her own cleaning business. She was known for her love of cleaning, cars, her cats, and most of all, her family. Darci had a strong spirit and a caring heart, and she shared a special bond with those closest to her.
She is survived by her mother, Krista Poling (Steve); her father, Chris Leaker; her sister, Emily Baker (Chris); her brothers, Colton Poling (Dakota Merz), Jacob Poling (Rachel), and Troy Poling; her nieces, Haleigh, MaKenna, and Serenity; her nephew, Brody; her grandparents, Gene Rase and Connie Graves; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack Leaker, with whom she shared an especially close bond with, Carol Stevenson, and Sally Rase.
Darci will be remembered for her love for her family, her independent spirit, and the wonderful memories she created with those who knew her best. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
At this time, there will be no formal services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
