Agra resident, Darcie Bailey, passed away on March 10, 2026, peacefully at home, in Agra, Kansas, at the age of 61.
Darcie Anne Bailey was born on December 16, 1964, in Kearney, NE, to Elmer Fisher and mother Alyce Marie Goerndt-Magill. Darcie was raised by her mother and Jay Magill.
She was united in marriage to Alan Dwayne Bailey on July 14, 1988, at the Fox Lake, in Cassidy, Kansas. To this union, one child was born, Holly Bailey.
Darcie was a CNA for a majority of her career, making many wonderful friends and memories while doing what she did best, caring for others.
Darcie had a passion for life and was driven by kindness and compassion. She had a gentle soul, and would do anything for anyone who needed it. She had the absolute best heart. Darcie enjoyed watching Nebraska Football, attending country concerts, spending time with family and friends making new memories and reminiscing on old ones. She also enjoyed shopping (maybe a little too much!) with her close friend Gail. Darcie had a love for Christmas, whom she passed on to Holly, allowing many wonderful and magical memories together during the holidays. Darcie had a deep, loving connection with her one and only love, Alan, always keeping him on his toes and in line! They especially loved going for drives together to check out Gods beautiful work.
Darcie leaves behind her husband of the home Alan Bailey, Agra, KS, Daughter Holly Bailey, Broomfield, CO, Life-Long friend and Sister-In-Law Angela Rhoades, Eureka KS, Brother -In-Law Leslie (Michelle) Bailey, Warner, OK, Sister-In-Law Dee Swartz, NM and many nieces/nephews. She also leaves behind her very beloved and protective fur-babies Sophie, Aspen and Coco, as well as her grand fur-baby, Trixie. She would always joke that Trixie is the only grandbaby she will probably ever get, but she truly had a special bond with her and Trixie sure loved her “Grammy”.
Darcie is proceeded in death by her Mother Alyce Magill, Father Jay Magill, Brother Jack Fisher, Brother-In-Law Robert Bailey, Father-In-Law William “Bill” Bailey, and Mother-In-Law Karolyn Kinsey.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date for close friends and family.
She is terribly missed already. We can’t wait to see you again.
