Phillipsburg resident Dean O. Thomas passed away at home, at the age of 69, on February 10th, 2026.
Dean was born on May 16th, 1956, to Cecil A. and Clella (Hart) Thomas in Denver, CO.
Dean worked as an Automotive Mechanic.
On February 13th, 1976, Dean married Sally Haskett in Phillips County, KS.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Cecil and Clella.
He is survived by his wife Sally of the home, daughters Sarah Beckman and husband Aaron of Phillipsburg, KS, Tiffany Koetkemeyer and husband James of Gardner, KS, son Benjamin Thomas of Phillipsburg, KS, 3 grandchildren Nicholas Beckman, Preston Beckman, and Jameson Koetkemeyer, brothers Cecil Thomas Jr. and wife Sandy of Big Timber, MT, Tommy Thomas and wife Connie of Lindsborg, KS, and Eddie Thomas and wife Kelly of Glade, KS,
Cremation was planned. Friends are welcome to sign the book from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. on Friday, February 20th, with family receiving friends from 6-8 P.M. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday. February 21st, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with J.D. Washington officiating. A dinner will be held at Heartland Worship Center following the service.
Memorials are established to the Hospice Services.
Hugunin Family Funeral Homes Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
