Darell Lamon Parks, 41, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 26. 2025. He was born March 13, 1984, in Syracuse, New York.
Darell graduated from Cicero North Syracuse High School 2003. He enjoyed being with family and friends He was a member of Peoples AME Zion Church; he would often show his compassion for his church family by helping serve food to the community. He had a passion for writing and being active in the LGBTQA community. Darell was a beacon of light that was loved by all everywhere he went and will be truly missed. He will be forever remembered for that big smile from cheek to cheek and his carefree spirit.

Jr. (Cynthia), Terry Winters both of Decatur, GA; Rodney Akins (Alice) of Coatesville, PA, Dion Holmes, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 11AM to 12 PM at Peoples AME Zion Church, 2306 S. Salina St., Syracuse. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM.
