Daren Duane Morgan, 94, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Gilbert, Arizona.
Born on November 6, 1929, in Plymouth, Indiana he was the son of Oscar and Hazel (Unger) Morgan. He attended LaPaz High School graduating with the class of 1947. On November 4, 1950 he married Norma Kaser, she preceded him in death on October 9, 1972. Daren married Dorothy  (4/20/1974) and, and called the Plymouth community home for their entire lives. Dorothy preceded him in death on December 7, 2023.
Daren worked for Bendix for 44 years as a Machinist/Journeyman Millwright.


Daren is often described as a sweet and happy man with an infectious smile and a mischievous spark. According to Daren,  every day is “a good day.“

 
Daren was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plymouth where he was a member of the choir for 54 years and also a member of Rotary and the Plymouth-Kilwinning Masonic Lodge 149.
 
He is survived by his daughter Kris (Kirk) Morgan of Mesa, AZ; step-daughter Dawn (Lance) Bultena; step-son Timm (Diane) Ringer; step-daughter Jayna (Stephen) Beutler; step- daughter-in-law Tammi Ringer (Jon), siblings: Helen Robinson and Lois Evans, 18-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Daren is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Norma, his second wife Dorothy, step-son Jon Ringer, siblings: Adrian Morgan, Wayne Morgan, Norma Fillinger, Lloyd Morgan, Richard Morgan, Kay Smith, Jane Wilson, Mary Ann Orr, Barbara Elliott and Stanley Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11-1 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. A Memorial service will immediately follow with Pastor Lauren Hall officiating.
Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church, 400 N. Michigan St. Plymouth, IN 46563.
