Dario Baston, of
Katy, Texas, unexpectedly passed away on September 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that will never be forgotten.
Born in Henderson, Nevada, Dario spent his childhood there before moving to
Katy, Texas, where he grew up and built his life. He graduated from Seven Lakes High School in 2011 and went on to pursue his passion for healthcare. In 2021, he earned his associate degree in nursing from Lone Star College. In 2025, he proudly passed his NCLEX Nursing Exam, achieving his goal of becoming a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
Throughout his career, Dario brought warmth, joy, and dedication to every role he took on. He worked as an event coordinator and host for high-end model catering, a model with Neal Hamil Modeling Agency in Houston, a patient care assistant at Memorial Hermann Katy, and a top waiter at The Federal Grill. No matter what the setting, he was known for his charisma, professionalism, and the way he made others feel valued.
Dario's zest for life shined through in everything he did. He loved working out, gaming, and caring for his dream car, which he took great pride in. His favorite meal was his mom's red sauce and meatballs, and he never missed an opportunity to share a laugh or say, "I love you." With his goofy, lighthearted spirit, he made every room brighter.
Family was the center of Dario's world. He cherished his role as "Duncle" (Uncle Dario) to his nieces Presley and Indie and his nephew Jack, spoiling them with hidden stashes of fruit snacks and endless love. He was smitten with Jack and often spoke of how excited he was for the day his nephew could tag along on adventures. His sweetness, generosity, and love for family will remain a treasured memory.
Dario is survived by his mother, Karen Clements, and stepfather, Frank Clements; his father, also named Dario Baston, and step-mother Chemsamay Baston; his sister and brother-in-law, Bianca and Triston Allen; his beloved nieces and nephew, Presley, Indie, and Jackson; his step-sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Tim Fondren, and their children, Mila and Ziggy; and his step-brothers Drew Clements and Chad and Yessica Clements. Dario is also survived by Al Baston (uncle), Liz Baston (aunt), Veronica Baston, John Baston, Teresa Baston, Angela Baston, and other Baston Family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Angelita Rieder and Bruna and Walter Baston.
