Darious Dashon Johnson (31), Passed away unexpectedly in Mankato, Mn on December 21, 2024.
Darious was born to Maurice Johnson and Melodie Mcinnis (Wells) on July 6, 1993, at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital in San Diego, Ca.
While in High School, he moved to Rochester, Mn. With his charm and contagious personality, he quickly built relationships that would prove to last a lifetime.
His ability to connect with people from all walks of life allowed him to form a tight-knit circle of friends who supported each other through the ups and downs of life.
Darious finally married the love of his life Kira (Ferguson) on April 19, 2024, and together they made Mankato, Mn their home.
Darious will be remembered for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who loved him, his unwavering dedication to the family he built, his passion for music, his boundless humor, and his laughter that could light up even the darkest of rooms. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Darious is survived by his wife, Kira; children, Hussein, Robert, Nevaeh, Illyza, Sincere, Darious Jr., James Lewis, and Gregory; his father, Maurice; brother, Dominick; Grandmother, Thomasa; Grandfather, Charlie; Mother in law; Taryn (Luciano); Sister in law, Caujia; Brothers in law, Alec and Cornell; a large extended family; and many close friends who he regarded as family.
He also leaves behind his chosen family from both California and Minnesota; Olivia, Manny, Raul, Speedy, and Marissa. Staci, Lewis (Nicole), Ebony (Wayman), James, and Constance (Quran), and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving grandmother Peaches Pearl, and his stepfather, Gregory.
Though no longer with us, his legacy and unforgettable spirit will live on through his children for generations to come.
