Darla Barner Obituary
She was born in Pasadena, CA on March 1, 1943, the daughter of Orlin and Fay Billye Pool. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Pool, of Liberty, KY.
Darla retired from the Coffeyville Community College with over 25 years of service as the manager of the College Bookstore. Darla was also State President BPW (Kansas Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club) in 1995.
She is survived by her husband, Fred of the home, three sons, Anthony (Tony) Grooms and wife, Rhonda of Lino Lakes, MN, Leland Grooms and wife Brenda of Holt, MO and Jason Grooms of Plymouth, MN and four grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Coffeyville Regional Medical Center and Medicalodge Sight and Sound for their special care and kindness during these difficult times.
Per Darla's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
