Darla Bowman Obituary
Darla Mae Bowman passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Sherwood Manor in Brockville. She was 85 years old. Darla was born May 13, 1938, in Williamsburg, Ontario, the daughter of Mahlon and Hilda (Duval) Bowman. Darla attended school in Morrisburg and was a hairdresser owning her own shop in Brockville, "Darla's Beauty Nook" as well as working in Iroquois.
Darla is survived by two sons, John Noetstaller of Brockville, and Robert (Michele) Bowman of Maitland; one sister, Eunice O'Neil of Iroquois, four grandchildren, Bianca (Carmen), Hana, Kirk (Shannon), and Brooke (Alex), and 2 great granddaughters, Avery and Charlee. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her three brothers, Raymond, Dale, and Glen Bowman.
At Darla's request there will be a private family graveside service at the Fairview Cemetery in Mariatown. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville. Memorial donations may be made to Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health.
Darla spent 10 years at Sherwood Park Manor and her family would like to thank the wonderful staff for the great care that Darla received there over the years.

Darla was such a kind soul and I am so glad that we met. I used to work at Sherwood Park Manor 7 years ago working in laundry and met her for the first time. It was easy to befriend her. 4 years ago, my own mother ended up in Sherwood and our paths crossed a second time. I got to learn more about her and have always enjoyed our conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. My deepest sympathy.
