Darlene Dargo Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 5, 2026.
Darlene (Kasperek) Dargo, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Glennie, Michigan, on December 31, 2025.
Darlene was born on June 12, 1947, in Wayne, Michigan, to John and Helen (Snyr) Kasperek. She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1965 and began her career at Unistrut, where she worked until 1974. She later worked as an accounting administrator for LSG Sky Chefs for 13 years before retiring in 1994.
On September 9, 1967, Darlene married the love of her life, Richard Dargo. Together, they made their home in Garden City, Michigan, for 47 years and built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. Darlene treasured time spent with her family, relaxing at their lake home, traveling, and getting lost in a good book.
Darlene is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Richard; her daughter, Amy (Paul) Cordes of Royal Oak, Michigan; her cherished granddaughter, Olivia Cordes; her dear sister, Dottie (Tom) Lawson of Wayne, Michigan; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Kanouse, and her brother, John Kasperek.
In accordance with Darlene's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those wishing to honor Darlene's memory may consider a donation to Hospice of Michigan or the ALS Association.

My dearest, most precious aunt and godmother. You were so full of love, and made everything magical. No one will ever come close to just how special you are to me. Rest high above the clouds, amongst the angels in Heaven. You and your love will live on in my memories - I will cherish them until we meet again. Love you the most!
