DARLENE “DOTTIE” HOLMGREN
July 2, 1945 ˜ June 22, 2025
Darlene “Dottie” Holmgren passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 79 in Vancouver, WA. She was born in Portland, OR on July 2, 1945, and lived a vibrant and dynamic life.
Dottie dedicated many years to the world of home furnishings and interior design, and at one point had her own interior design business, Dottie’s Designs. After retiring, she and her husband Victor enjoyed traveling, long walks on Vancouver’s waterfront and spending time with friends and family.
She leaves behind her son, Jeff Holmgren, her daughter Nicole Harris (Marc), five grand children, and one great-grand child. Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Holmgren, and daughter, Donna Lagattuta.
A service to celebrate Dottie’s life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 400 S. Andresen Rd., on August 6, 2025 at 11 a.m.

Dottie was always so very good to me. I appreciated her sense of humor and laughter. She was insanely creative in her decorating and helped me pull my paint and colors together for my home. She is now with Vic and Donna. RIP
