Darlene Frohnheiser
Darlene Jean (Moyer) Frohnheiser, passed away peacefully on Oct. 23, 2025, in Jim Thorpe.
Born on Dec. 18, 1949, in Parryville, a daughter to the late Halden Wentz Mills and Charlotte (Fronheiser) Moyer, Darlene's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and enduring friendships.
Darlene's journey began as one of the bright lights in the Moyer family. Her infectious humor and warm spirit were a beacon of joy throughout her life. She was a devoted homemaker, a role she cherished and in which she excelled, creating a loving and welcoming home for all who entered.
The bonds of family were deeply important to Darlene. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Barry K. Frohnheiser Sr., who passed away on May 28, 2024; her cherished son Barry K. Frohnheiser Jr., who left this world too soon on November 15, 2021; her dear twin sister Marlene Jane Lefèbvre, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond, on July 22, 2024; and her brother Robert Curtis Sr., who passed on September 30, 2024.
Her legacy continues through her loving daughters, Charlene M. Dimmick of Jim Thorpe and Colette M. Frohnheiser of Summit Hill, her caring brother Clyde Moyer Sr. of North Carolina, and her sister Ruthann Binder of Weissport.
Those who knew Darlene will remember her as the life of the party, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood or a kind word to lift spirits. Her love for bingo, yard sales, and shopping were more than hobbies; they were avenues through which she connected with people, sharing stories and laughter. Her outings with her sister Marlene were not just fun excursions but treasured moments that many will recall fondly.
Darlene's friendly and loving nature made her a beloved figure in her community. Her ability to make friends wherever she went was a testament to her open heart and genuine interest in others. As a homemaker, she was not only the heart of her own family but also a friend to many, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.
The void left by Darlene's passing will be deeply felt by many, but the memories of her humor, her warmth, and her love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. Her laughter, once a familiar and comforting sound, will echo in the stories shared by friends and family as they gather to honor her memory.
Darlene's life was a journey filled with joy, challenges, and triumphs. Through it all, she remained a steadfast source of love and laughter, a true friend, and a cherished member of her family. As we say goodbye to Darlene Jean (Moyer) Frohnheiser, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she left on the world. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light for those who were fortunate enough to know her.
