In Loving Memory of Darlene "Dolly" Hatcher
1954 - 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Darlene Hatcher, 71, of
Haltom City, Texas, on October 28, 2025.
Born on June 1, 1954, to Otha Frank "Shorty" Davis and Florene Mercer Davis, Darlene
grew up in Fort Worth and also spent time in Oklahoma and East Texas. She cherished the
simple joys of life - a warm cup of coffee in the morning and her favorite crime shows in the
evening.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Darlene shared 55 wonderful years of
marriage with her husband Doug. Known affectionately as "Nanny" to her grandchildren and
"Dolly" to her nieces and nephews, she was the heart of her family. In her earlier years, she
found great joy in cooking and baking for those she loved. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering
love for her family will be remembered always.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Roberts
Funeral Home. 4200 Denton Hwy, Haltom City, Tx 76117. Located inside Church.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Hatcher; daughter Teresa Hatcher;
grandsons Tyler Sharpe, Jon Hatcher, and James Wilbanks; great-grandsons Charlie and
Hunter Sharpe, grand-daughters Danielle and Olivia; nephews Gary Taylor, Tim Taylor,
Clayton Gifford, Aaron Davis; and niece's Mandy Riddle, and Jessica Davis.
She was preceded in death by her son Charlie Hatcher, and sisters Celia Stegient and Beverly
Cobb and brother Bobby Davis.
Darlene's love, laughter, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
