A native of Fitchburg, MA she was born January 21, 1955 the daughter of the late Arthur Richard Gove and Barbara Ann Girard Gove. She worked as a Counselor for Special Needs Adults. She enjoyed arts & crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: James Patrick Hayes; and her sister: Brenda Gove; and her niece: Diana Gove.
Survivors include her husband: James Thomas Hayes of Crofton, KY; and her brother: Bruce Alan Gove of Ashby, MA; and her sister: Cindy Lou (Ronnie) Duval of Leminster, MA; and her nieces and nephews: Keri Reynolds, Amy (Ryan) Richard, Jessica Stamper, Julie Kilbury, Jared (Jamie Sullivan) Gove and Justin Gove.
