Darlene Ann Hollerbach, age 82 of Collinsville, IL, born August 1, 1942 in Springfield, IL, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at La Bella of Edwardsville.
Darlene was a 1960 Collinsville High School graduate. She worked as a clerk at the Collinsville Police Station for 15 years until retiring. She enjoyed sewing, camping, boating, reading and genealogy. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Doris (nee Kemp) Brumm; and two brothers: Robert and Gary Brumm.
Surviving are her loving husband, Kent L. Hollerbach, whom she married March 13, 1963; five beloved children: Karen Hollerbach of Troy, IL, Kristen (Eddie) Winkler of Edwardsville, IL, Kendra (Brian) Beadles of Collinsville, IL, Kurt (Angie DeRosier) Hollerbach of Caseyville, IL, and Kietra Hollerbach of Troy, IL; 11 grandchildren: Brianna (Anthony) White, Ashlynn Winkler, Brent (Michelle) Beadles, and Brandon Beadles, Kaiden and Miley Hollerbach, Kiersten Hollerbach, Emily and Josh DeRosier, Kegan Hollerbach, and Kwaid Williams; seven great-grandchildren: Jayce, Shaylee and Tayden White, Azlynn, Aubriella and Axton Beadles, and Aiden Kekic; a brother, Wayne (Angie) Brumm of St. Louis, MO; a sister-in-law, Kathy Brumm of Troy, IL; nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.
Memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Zach Lysdahl officiating. Private burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
