Darlene K. Custred Johnson, 79, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on November 9, 2025 at her home.
Born on November 5, 1946, in Philipsburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Norma J. (Kephart) Custard.
In 1991, Darlene married Donald "Lanny" Johnson Jr., in DuBois. He preceded her in passing on November 18, 2000.
Darlene graduated from Bald Eagle High School, was Protestant by faith and retired as a bartender/bar manager for numerous local establishments.
She was an avid reader and loved to crochet. Was a member of the Sandy Club, Falls Creek Eagles, Pulaski, Veterans of Foreign Wars and DuBois American Legion.
Darlene is survived by her daughters; Brenda (Kirkwood) Umbaugh her companion Larry Joiner, Cynthia Kirkwood, Gale (Mike) O'Neill, Christine Johnson, son Rick, eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, brother Duane Custred and Darlene's companion Johnathan Sanders.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, son John Douglas Evers Jr., brother Gary P. Custred and nephews Patrick and Steven Custred.
Friends and family will be received at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 – 3:00 followed by funeral service at 3:00, with the Rev. Greg Sands officiating. Interment will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
