Darlene Mae Kuhn Eberhart

Darlene Mae Kuhn Eberhart, age 89 of Estill Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Highpoint Health Medical Center. She was born in Edwardsville, Illinois on December 7, 1936, to the late Eldon and Fern (Brown) Kuhn. Darlene spent her work career in retail, working at Payless, Food Lion, Kroger and eventually retiring from K-Mart. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling to Horseshoe Lake. Most recently, she could be found passing the time tidying her home and taking care of her dogs. Artistically inclined, she usually had a crochet or needle point project in the works. A Christian lady, she attended Trinity Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Eberhart Sr; sister, Sharon McClure; brother, Eldon Kuhn Jr; and daughter, Karen Harper. Darlene is survived by her loving children, Linda Eberhart (Jeff Pennington), Jimmy (Vickie) Eberhart, Dora Lynn Eberhart, Richard Eberhart, Dawn (Jeffrey) Garner, and David (Koren) Eberhart; grandchildren, Joshua (Laci) Garner, Jeremy Garner, Mason Eberhart, Morgan Sroka, Nikki Lester, Travis (Tori) Eberhart, Tyler Eberhart, Melissa Eberhart, Lindsey Wellen, Emilee Sanders, Triston Holt, Erin Cullipher, Bobby (Karen ) Stockdale, and Beth Partelow; and many great-grandchildren.
