If the perfect grandmother existed it would be you, through all the hardships you endured you was one of the strongest women in my life, we will all remember how funny you was, you always gave us all so much joy soon as we saw you the way you could light up even the darkness of times, I was blessed to spend any amount of time with you, nothing will ever compare. If my grandmother cared about you, you knew it. She was fiercely loyal, loving, and protective of the people she loved, whether you were a friend or family member. Darlene, my dear cousin, raised as sisters. You always had the most beautiful smile and a heart just like our precious granny. You were always the level head, the peace maker, the one who loved everyone unconditionally. I know someday we are going to be together again, and until then, I love you.
