Darlene L. Puller passed away on June 16, 2025, in West Terre Haute. Born in Clinton on January 18, 1954, to Roy and Joann (Berry) Ramsey, she was the second oldest of five siblings. She lived, worked, and raised her family in West Terre Haute until her death.

She married her high school sweetheart, the late William ‘Bill’ Puller, in 1974. Together, they worked on the family farm and were married for 17 years until his passing in 1991. Following that, Darlene worked at Bemis in Terre Haute for 24 years until her retirement.

More than anything, Darlene had a few things she truly loved: her sons, grandchildren, and animals. If the sun was out, Darlene was likely enjoying the sunshine. On cold or rainy days, she was likely reading a book or solving a crossword puzzle.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Young; and sons, Billy (Tish) Puller and Tony (Tiffany) Puller, whom she loved more than anything. She is also survived by stepsons, TJ Young and Tyler Young; grandchildren, Cheyenne Miller, Wyatt Lowe, Laney Puller, Logan Puller, Blake Puller, and many nieces and nephews. Darlene is also survived by her sister, Karen (Steve) Sharrer, and sister-in-law, Pearl Ramsey.

In addition to her first husband, Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, Joann (Berry) Ramsey; stepmother, Rose Ilene Ramsey; father, Roy Ramsey; and siblings: Linda (Ramsey) Jancek, Billy Joe Ramsey Sr., and Mike Ramsey.

Darlene will be missed by her family and all who knew her straightforward and strong presence.
