Margaret Darlene (Clark) Raley, 82 of Bowie, TX, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday August 12, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 15 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Gregg Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Vashti Cemetery.

Darlene was born on December 10, 1942, in Dallas, TX to J.D. and Mary Ann (Hale) Clark. She married Ronald David Raley on August 19, 1960. After completing her family, she attended and graduated from Kauffman County Hospital with her LVN in 1969. She then pursued her associate degree in nursing from Midwestern State University in 1984.

Darlene worked the majority of her nursing career at Bowie Memorial Hospital and retired from Integracare Home Health in 2008. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a member of Central Baptist Church since 1971.

Darlene loved the Lord and her family with all her heart and soul. She enjoyed road trips with her sister Cynthia, dancing anywhere she heard a beat, and singing hymns even though she always said it was out of tune. She embodied brilliance, compassion, and nurturing qualities. Her servant's heart and exceptional nursing skills were a testament to her remarkable character. Her patients were her priority, and she always made sure they knew that. She could make a meal out of nothing and feed a crowd. She was a rare gem, a treasure to behold.

She is proceeded in death by her parents J.D and Mary Ann (Hale) Clark. In-laws C.M. And Evelyn (Dennis) Raley. Siblings J.D. and wife Barbara Clark, Jo Ann Elrod, Mary Musgrove, Bennie and wife Tina Clark, and Charlie Clark.

She is survived by her husband Ronald of Bowie, TX. Children David Raley and wife Misty of Bowie, TX, Danial Raley of Decatur, TX, Clint Raley of Bowie, TX, and DeeDee Carr of Bowie, TX. Sister Cynthia and husband Donald Betts of Bowie, TX, brother Yale Clark and wife Linda of Willis Point, TX.

Grandchildren Lindsay Raley Hare of Decatur, TX, Jordan Patel and Husband Ankit of Arlington, TX, Ryan Raley and wife Jennifer of Decatur, TX, Joshua Carr of Wichita Falls, TX, Nathanial Woodward and wife Lindsey of Austin, TX, Jarret Carr of Wichita Falls, TX, Jaycee Carr of Nocona, TX, Christian Raley of Austin, TX, Taylor Raley of Bowie, TX, and Julia Raley of Bowie, TX. Great grandchildren Brylee Hawkins, Rylan Raley, Hadley Hare, and Ashtin and Rivi Patel. As well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, and memories cherished by those who knew and loved her.
