Dear Brooke,

I worked at Masonicare with your mom, and my kids attended the child development center. Your mother cared for and watched over those kids and the teachers there with a loving hand, a true "mother hen." She made me feel so comfortable as a parent leaving my babies there. And, I'll never forget she had a gallery of pictures of you, her pride and joy, and gushed about you in the sweetest way! I am so terribly sorry for your loss. There really are no right words other than to say you are in my heart and I pray for comfort for you and your family. I know your mom is looking down with such pride for the kind of young woman you have become and will give you strength.

Brooke, Kevin, Valerie and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with all. You know better than anyone else what a gift Darlene was! She was one of the funniest people I ever met and prided herself on her humor. Beyond her wit, she was an incredible friend to me and my family. I will never forget the impact she had on us and will forever be grateful for her friendship, kindness, support and care and compassion for my children.
