Darlene Weible Obituary

Darlene G. Weible, 66, of Brookville, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Clarion Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 29, 1959, in Mercer, she was the daughter of Robert and Helen (Palmer) Coryea.

She was a graduate of Mercer High School and attended the Church of the Nazarene.

On September 27, 2022 in Brookville, she married her loving husband and friend of 24 years, James M. Weible. He survives.

She spent her life serving others and uplifting people's spirit. These acts of compassion included 30 years of dedicated service at the Radisson in West Middlesex, and locally she was manager at Goodwill in Brookville for 10 years.

Darlene enjoyed spending time with her Mom and sisters, going on many adventures together.

She also enjoyed crafts, spending time at Lake Erie and Presque Isle and watching the sunset, and the many drives she took with her husband.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Diane (Andy) Gorynski and Deborah Coryea; her mother-in-law, Nancy Weible; her sister-in-law, Mary (Chuck) Archer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are her father-in-law, Gary Weible; brother, Robert Coryea Jr.; her sister, Doreen Mellot; and her nephew, Derek Coryea.

Arrangements are at the direction of the Furlong Funeral Home, located at 50 Broad Street in Summerville.

There will be no services held.

Her family will hold a private Remembrance Service at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Darlene's memory to the Mrs. Claus Club of Knox, P.O. Box 271, Knox, PA 16232.

Jim and her family would like to extend their THANKS to the staff at Clarion Hospital and Cancer Center for their compassionate care and kindness for Darlene during her battle with cancer.
