Darlene Zingaro, 77, of Nesbitt Road, Neshannock Township, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at UPMC Avalon Nursing Home. She was born on April 27, 1948, in Yuba City, CA, the daughter of the late Albert ‘Babo’ and Helen (Mudrick) Orlando. Darlene married Marion A. Zingaro on June 29, 1968, he survives at home. Mrs. Zingaro worked as a secretary in the superintendent’s office for New Castle School District, retiring after 20 years. Mrs. Zingaro was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, traveling, and watching Lifetime movies. She also enjoyed going to her grandsons’ ball games and her granddaughters’ dance competitions. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two children, Marc A. Zingaro and his wife Dana of New Castle, and Matthew A. Zingaro and his wife Melissa of Ashburn, VA, five grandchildren, Gina, Kaela, Michael, Juliana, and Natalia, one brother, John Orlando of New Castle, one sister, Diane Maiorano and her husband Nick of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Orlando.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing service will be celebrated Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Ben Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
