Darliss June Wolfe

Darliss June Wolfe, age 85 of Duncannon PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Emory Wolfe.

She was born on February 4, 1940, to Milton & Elizabeth Hummel. Darliss is survived by son Joseph Wolfe (wife Simone) preceded in death by son Robin Wolfe (wife Tina), and daughter Pebbles Vance (husband James). She had five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. She was, also, preceded in death by nine siblings Hannah, Elwood, Shirley, Stanley, Patricia, Whalen, Carol, Richard, and Donna.

Darliss was a wonderful Mom, wife, and friend to many. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of many bible study groups, Red Hat Society, Golden-Agers, NRA, EMS, VFW, American Legion, Otterbein Methodist Church, and she was a police officer in Duncannon, as well as a teacher at Susquenita Elementary School. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, shooting sports, bowling on the league with her late beloved husband. She will be truly missed. She always had a smile on her face, loved to laugh, enjoyed life, shop, read her bible, and loved the lord.

A Going Home Celebration will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 North High Street Duncannon, PA 17020, with Pastor Frank Deiter officiating. Burial will be in Duncannon Cemetery, Duncannon, PA.

Viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
