Darlton Dyer Obituary

Darlton Edward Dyer March 15, 1935 - February 4, 2026 Darlton Edward Dyer, age 90, passed away on February 4, 2026. Born March 15, 1935, in Orth, Texas, to Reba and J.V. Dyer, he spent most of his life in Fort Worth and Newcastle. He built a respected career in data management and computer consulting and took pride in helping businesses operate effectively.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald Dyer, and his son Darlton Dyer, Jr.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Adela; children Teresa Dyer, Angela and Terry Abston, and Dylan and Micaela Dyer; stepchildren Michael and Rhonda Hernandez and Derrick and Stephanie Hernandez; his brother Joel and Gayle Dyer; sisters Ann Crenshaw and Cindy Dyer; grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He loved hunting, reading, family time, Blue Bell ice cream, and sharing his constant smile. A celebration of life will be held March 21 at 11am at Flower Mound Presbyterian Church.

I worked for Darlton at Continental Life Insurance Company in Ft Worth 1960-64.
He was a gentleman adn fun person. After moving from Texas in 1968 I lostouch with Darlton, but always remembered him as it was yesterday. RIP
