Darnell Mutin

Darnell Mutin departed this life on January 24, 2022 at the age of 47. He was a longtime resident of New Orleans. He was employed as a laborer for the past 7 years in the plumbing industry. Darnell is the son of Ms. Sheila Ann Mutin and Alfred Landry, and the stepson of Huey Journee. Darnell leaves to cherish his memories his 5 children Darneisha Boss , Darnell Tumblin, Da'Nieel and Danali Mutin, Destin Mutin. Darnell is the brother of Marshall Mutin, Petina Mutin, Huey Mutin and Candy Journee. He was loved by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends and his devoted cousin Shelly Landry and aunt Deborah Landry. Darnell was preceded in death by his grandparents Alvin Mutin Sr. and Beatrice Mutin, Oscar and Rita Landry, sister Tiffany Journee Sherman, nephews Jerome Mutin & Kerwin Borden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration of our beloved Darnell on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10 am at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., New Orleans, La. 70116. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 70127. Due to COVID-19 mandates, masks are required.
