Darragh O'Reilly, 45, of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away on April 2, 2023.
He was born in Ireland on August 8, 1977 to Mary Murphy O'Reilly and Noel O'Reilly.
Darragh relocated to the U.S. from Ireland in September 2006 to pursue a career in the banking industry. He enjoyed a highly successful career with Wells Fargo. Darragh was a food and wine aficionado, a self-proclaimed foodie. He was a travel enthusiast with trips to Thailand and backpacking through Europe as his all time favorites and Chicago and New York as his U.S. favorites. He also enjoyed martial arts, playing and watching rugby, and cooking. One of his most memorable life moments was seeing Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Darragh was a devoted father, son, and friend. He had a deep bond with his childhood "lads" back in Ireland, whom he loved dearly. Above all, Darragh adored his beloved sons and cherished every moment spent with them as they were his entire world. Darragh will be deeply missed for eternity by all who knew and loved him. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable.
Darragh is survived by his sons, Logan and Gavin O'Reilly; his parents, Noel and Mary O'Reilly; brother, Niall O'Reilly; sister-in-law, Regina O'Reilly; nieces, Chloe and Emily O'Reilly; and dear friend and mother of his sons, Amy O'Reilly.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
