Darrel "Roundhead" Hooker

Darrel "Roundhead" Lee Hooker, 40, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Roundhead was born on November 30, 1985, to his loving mother Shirley Kay Fox Irick and his father the late Timothy Warren Hooker.

Left to cherish Roundhead's memories are his son, Warren Lee Hooker, significant other, Tina Marie Hoffman, mother, Shirely Irick and her husband Chip, brother, Timothy "Timmy" W. Hooker, II., and his wife Jennie, grandmother, Betty Fox, aunt, Suzy Payne, mother-in-law, Tina Lee, grandmother-in-law, nieces and nephews: Zachary Warren Hooker and his wife Amanda, Andrew Caden Hooker, and Sadie Grace Fisk, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Hooker, grandfather Levi Fox, grandmother, Joyce Dean Hooker, and uncle, David Payne.

A lover of the outdoors, Roundhead enjoyed spending time with his hunting dogs. He competed in many field trials and was a member of Bamberg Dog Club. Along with his brother Timmy, Roundhead founded Maximum Overdrive Kennels.

Visitation will be 3-5 pm on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and other times at the home of Margaret Lee. The family will have a service honoring Roundhead's life at a later date.
