Glenn Rucker Obituary
Mr. Glenn Autrey Rucker, 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Mr. Rucker was born in Lexington County, son of the late Clinton Wilbur Rucker and the late Mildred Autrey Rucker. He was a retired carpenter. He loved his family, playing music, singing and gathering with friends.
Survivors include his sister – Joanne Rucker Sharpe of Swansea; two nieces-Melynda (Dwaine) Payne, of Leesville; LaDonna (Randy) Smith of Swansea; four nephews: Michael Wayne Rucker, Tony Ryan (Lynn) Rucker, David Brian Rucker all of Pelion, and Larry Sharpe of Swansea, a very special cousin Bobby Joe Jackson of Cayce, and a number of great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Gentry Wayne Rucker, sister-in-law, Patricia Ann Rucker, and his niece, Lisa Angela Rucker.
Visitation will be 1 - 2 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm also in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Chris Addy will be officiating.

We love you to the moon and back Glenn! Will miss singing and picking with you at the Swamp! May God breathe peace and comfort on the family and friends left behind at this time. We will "see you in the morning" - you always sang Some call it heaven, I call it home..well you are now home my friend!
