Link Forrest Rucker

Link Forrest Rucker was born October 22, 1955 to the late Christine B. Wilson and James M. Rucker, in Rockingham County, Eden, North Carolina. Link received his formal education at Rockingham County Schools.

Link was employed by Boston Market Distribution as a Chef in the Charlotte area, and later retired at the Raleigh location. In his leisure time, he enjoyed family gatherings, reading, playing card games, bingo and travelling.

Link departed this life on January 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by is mother Christine B. Wilson, Father, James M. Rucker, Sisters; Vinnie Marie Tyson, and Barbara Ann Johnson, Brothers; James Elbert Rucker, Arthur Jones Rucker, Samuel Edward Meadows, and Brother-in-law Billie Jean Tyson.

Link leaves to cherish his memory, Sister; Mamie Michelle Hairston (Ray), Brothers; Carl Sherman Rucker of Stonville, Reginald Van Rucker of Yanceyville, Jason Donnell Rucker (Mary) of Tracy, California, Two Sisters in Love; Roberta Rucker and Lizetta Meadows, a very special Aunt Parthenia Broadnax and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
