Darrell Butler Obituary
Darrell was born in Akron, Ohio on February 14, 1983 to Darrell and Shirley Ann Butler and was a lifelong area resident. Darrell played football for Buchtel High School and graduated in 2001, and joined and retired from the Navy. Afterwards, he graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science. He was celebrating 2 years of sobriety. Darrell especially liked his cats, Benji Bob and Ladi Rose. He liked sports and his favorite team was the Browns. Darrell was a proud husband, father, son and so much more to so many. His heart was so great and he had a generous soul, always helping others in need. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded death by his mother Shirley; and his sister Tomisha Gilcreast. He is survived by his wife & Best Friend Scianna Brown-Butler; daughter Daeshaunna Butler; son Deamonee Brown and his mother Paullette (Rickey) Smith; father Darrell W. Butler (Jeanie); best friend Cameron Collins; niece Chianne Crisp; sister-in-law Ashley Brown; brother-in-law Pares Davis; nephew Emil Jackson; Uncles: Herman (Tina) Oden, Stevie Oden, Selby (Cassie) McGowan, Felix (Debbie) McKnight; Aunts: Dianne (Robert) Campbell, Hollie (Lindsey) Latson, Valerie (Eric) Hodoh; special Aunt Beddie McGowan; special Cousin Lanitra Murray; and a host of other Uncles, Aunts, cousins and loved ones.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 14 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where a celebration of life service will be held at 12Noon. Condolences may be made to the family, care of Anthony Funeral Homes. "Goodnight. Love You. Peace."
