David Yeater Obituary
David Albert Yeater, 81, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, passed away on March 1, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, JoAnn; sons Michael, Brian, Matthew; grandchildren Maxwell, Ella, Henry, Cora, Theodore, and Laura; sisters Rilla and Eve; and many nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lucille; siblings Betty, Richard, Joan and Nancy.
David was born August 29, 1944, in Akron, OH and spent most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He served in the Army Reserves and was known for his love of family and friends. He enjoyed traveling to visit family and spending time on the golf course. David will be remembered for always telling stories of his youth growing up in Firestone Park and singing in his folk group the "Akros".
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, from 4-6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home - Falls Chapel 247 Stow Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 6, 1 pm, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail in the Falls.
