Darrell Dockery Obituary
Darrell Dockery, age 63 of Murphy, NC passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the son of the late Frankie Dockery and Girline Bailey of Murphy. Darrell worked for Murphy Building Supply and was also a building contractor. He enjoyed camping and fishing. Darrell was a social butterfly. He loved the Lord and had strong relationship with him. Darrell was an excellent husband, provider, father and papaw.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dockery; two daughters, Samantha "Loopy" Dockery and Taylor "Tootie Pie" Dockery; two sisters, Lesia Hooper (James) and Kelly Millsaps all of Murphy; three grandchildren, Bryson Vahley, Izabella Dunn and Sawyer Dockery.
No services are planned.
