Daniel Dockery Obituary
Daniel Joseph Dockery, 82, of Gastonia passed away on February 1, 2026, at Caromont Regional. He was born on January 3, 1944, to the late Loyd Dockery and Willa Mae Beaver Dockery.
He is preceded in death by parents, wife, Patricia Dockery; and brother, Charles Dockery.
Daniel was a member of Ridge Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his partner, Linda Taylor of Gastonia; sons, Joseph Dockery (Danielle) of York, South Carolina, and Mark Dockery (Crystal) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; daughter, Tiffany Beaver (John) of China Grove; brothers, Loyd Dockery (Joyce) of Florida; and Jerry Dockery (Sarah) of Gastonia; sister, Janice Dillon (Michael) of Florida; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Ridge Baptist Church.
Daniel’s funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Todd Terry officiating.
Interment will follow at Westview Garden Cemetery.
