Darrell Wayne Gillis

Mr. Darrell Wayne Gillis, age 64, of Mountain View, Hawaii, passed away on June 2, 2024 at home. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 14, 1959 and was a self-employed mechanic. Private services were held at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He is Survived by wife, Bernadette "Bernie" Gillis of Mountain View; son, Travis (Anela Lewis) Gillis, Sr. of Oahu; grandsons; Travis Gillis Jr., Troyce Gillis, and Trytan Gillis of Pepeekeo; granddaughter, Temperance "Tempy" Gillis of Pepeekeo; sister, Cathleen "Cathy" (Dennis) Prado of Arizona; brothers, Clarke Gillis, II, Daniel Reeves, and Matthew Reeves, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; hanai sister, Darlene Green of Mississippi; in-laws, Mary Lou Benevides of Mountain View, Damian (Kelly Roberts) Mattos, Kevin Mattos of Hilo, Nathan (Ipyana) Mattos of Keaau, Kathleen (Preston Sr.) Mendoza of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Michael (Lisa) Taylor of Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
